LabNet CML

LabNet CML is the service that puts Italian haematologists who treat Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML) with labs that perform highly sophisticated molecular biology tests. The service is provided via the labnetcml.gimema.it web platform.

At present there are 51 standardised labs that operate within the LabNet CML network, and all are subject to quality controls; thanks to the network, each of them acts as a reference for one or more haematology centres.

All this means that not only do molecular biology tests provide correct and reliable results, they also guarantee that all patients have access to molecular biology testing with the same level of accuracy, regardless of where they are being treated. This avoids moving the patient, as it is the blood sample that does the travelling.

LabNet CML Labs

At present, 51 labs and over 120 haematological centres have subscribed to the LabNet CML network throughout Italy.
